The president-elect stated that he will begin his term from day one with the purpose of fulfilling the commitments made during the campaign, strengthening the institution and developing a work program focused on training, modernization and the well-being of the institution's members.
Along with Víctor Torres, the other members of the Delegation's Board of Directors were elected, made up of Garibaldi González, Nelcido Ruiz Lara, José Casanova, Luisa Carrasco, Luis Beato and Werner Mejía, who will have the responsibility of accompanying the execution of the work program for the period 2026-2027.
Likewise, the president-elect extended a message of respect and recognition to List 2, reiterating that the new administration will work with open doors for all sectors of the union, convinced that unity will be fundamental to achieving the transformations that the institution demands.
"This victory represents a commitment to all members. From today onwards, a stage of work, dialogue, and results begins to build a stronger, more modern CODIA that is closer to its members,"said Torres.
The result marks a change in the direction of the institution, with Fuerza Codiana prevailing over Dignidad Gremial Codiana, a movement coordinated by Francisco Mosquea, consolidating a new majority within the guild of engineers, architects and surveyors of the Santo Domingo province.
