The Floating Bridge will be closed this Saturday, February 7th

SANTO DOMINGO.- The Floating Bridge over the Ozama River will be closed to vehicular traffic this Saturday, February 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in order to allow passage for a vessel.

The Ministry of Public Works and Communications reported that the closure of the structure is due to the fact that, within the established time, the vessel Tug Anzu will be leaving the facilities of the Joseph Industrial Development Corp. shipyard.

This structure connects the National District with the Villa Duarte sector, in the municipality of Santo Domingo East.

Alternative routes to travel from the city of Santo Domingo to Villa Duarte, and vice versa, include the Matías Ramón Mella and Juan Pablo Duarte bridges.
