SANTO DOMINGO.- Laura Illeana Pérez, Project Manager Director of the developer and construction company Noval Properties, will be representing the construction sector on the panel that will take place at the first CENI Expo Forum, next Wednesday, March 8, at the Catalonia Hotel.
Her professional profile states that she is a Civil Engineer, graduated magna cum laude from the Ibero-American University (UNIBE), and holds a Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Foundations and Materials from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain), and another Master's degree, focused on business administration (MBA) at the Center for Financial Studies (CEF).
“Currently, Laura leads the team that implements and develops the expansion of the business model of the developer that aims to be the largest in the Dominican Republic, and the one with the greatest expansion in the last five years with projects that exceed ten thousand residences to be built in the next six years,” explains Pérez.
She adds that in the last two years she has been dedicated to developing the planning of Noval Properties' flagship projects, including Cana Cove, Coral Bahía, Atlántida, Oceana, Harbor Bay, Silver Beach, River Island, The Reef, among others; she also manages the most ambitious projects owned by the developer.

Alongside these challenges, he notes, he has established himself as a specialist in the organization and administration of engineering projects, taking charge of the planning, scheduling, control and optimization of construction processes in several renowned companies.
The engineering professional explains that she has focused her work specializing for the last ten years on the development and execution of mixed concrete and steel structures, special foundations, and mechanical recovery of soils and land.
“Laura has developed projects of extremely varied nature and types, ranging from commercial and social programs such as gastronomic and sports; industrial and special (such as industrial services LPG and Gas in addition to industrial buildings), as well as tourist and residential projects such as hotels, residential buildings and luxury villas,” he says.
Pérez was recognized with the best university index in her Civil Engineering graduating class at UNIBE and has collaborated in several publications such as the book "Project and Calculation of Concrete and Steel Structures" by engineer Celso Iglesias, and in some international ones such as the Risk Management in Slopes and Embankments and influence of Climate Change project, at the Group Meeting in Romania during 2013.
Her life profile states that she is a member of the COST group at Newcastle University and twice winner of the best position paper in the Model United Nations during the Assemblies held in Santiago and Santo Domingo (Years 2003-2004).
