About Fitur

Fitur is a leading business event and a global benchmark in the tourism sector. Its 42nd edition last year brought together more than 7,000 exhibitors from 107 countries. Held in Madrid, Spain, and organized by IFEMA Madrid, it offers five days of events, forums, conferences, and opportunities to network and develop projects.

Showcasing their products and services allows companies to present new developments and strategies, attract new partners and distributors from around the world, connect "face to face" with current customers and suppliers, or create or strengthen brand positioning, among many other things; this is part of the objectives of the business forum.

After concluding a successful year with various accolades as the country that took the lead in the recovery of the tourism sector, with more than 7 million visitors as of November of last year, the Dominican Republic will arrive as a co-sponsor of the event, where Guatemala will serve as a partner country.

Miches and its undiscovered charms will be one of the new features in the Dominican Ministry of Tourism's portfolio, according to Minister David Collado, who also explained that the Dominican Republic's pavilion will have the participation of 6 sponsors and 45 co-exhibitors, including the main companies in the industry and the largest commercial banks in the country.
