The Dominican Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced Wednesday that it will contract companies to operate consular services, such as visa applications and passport renewals, following a controversy over alleged irregularities. In a statement, the Ministry announced the call for proposals, open to both local and international companies, to operate these consular services.
