PUNTA CANA - The Puntacana Group Foundation and the Banreservas Volunteer Program signed a strategic collaboration agreement to develop social and environmental protection programs and initiatives in the province of La Altagracia and the Eastern region.
The actions to be developed include reforestation days, contributions to the Puntacana Children's Diversity Center (CEDI), promoting citizen awareness programs on recycling, solid waste, prevention and health, as well as working on collaborative initiatives in the educational system, the foundation explains in a statement posted on its Instagram social network.

The Group explains that during the event, the Banreservas volunteer donated a complete brain mapping electroencephalogram machine to CEDI, "contributing in an essential way to the medical care of the center's patients, since a significant percentage of the area's child population has special needs, according to research conducted by Fundación Grupo Puntacana, with the collaboration of the University of Florida.".
Delivery of firefighting unit
Similarly, the Puntacana Group Foundation donated an aircraft firefighting unit to the Dominican Republic Air Force. Likewise, the General Command of the Dominican Republic Air Force awarded Rainieri the "Pan American Flight Medal" for his outstanding career and collaboration with the institution.
“We are very pleased to receive this aircraft firefighting unit, which helps improve our operational capabilities and mitigate any risk situations in the runway and ramp operations area, benefiting our pilots, technicians, and also the equipment we use for flight missions,” declared Major General Pilot Leonel Amílcar Muñoz Noboa, Commander General of the institution.
The equipment, explained the Punta Cana Group in a statement released through the social network Instagram, is intended to be used for assistance and security missions on the runway, ramp and ground maneuvering area of the San Isidro Air Base.
