SANTO DOMINGO.- The Dominican Association of Surveyors (ASODAGRIM) and the Association of Women Micro, Small and Medium Businesses in the Construction Sector (MUPYMECON) signed an inter-institutional cooperation agreement with the purpose of strengthening the professional and technical development of their members, as well as promoting training and entrepreneurship in the construction sector.
The agreement, signed by Víctor Torres, president of ASODAGRIM, and Erminda Decena, president of MUPYMECON, establishes a strategic collaboration to conduct technical training in surveying, engineering, and architecture.
It also includes entrepreneurship training for professionals in the sector, the creation of technical teams for joint studies and evaluations, the development of projects to apply to national and international organizations, and the defense of professional practice and its demands.
A press release indicates that the agreement also includes the use of spaces in both institutions for training programs and the search for funding for projects of common interest.

Present at the signing were Juana María Llauger, vice president of ASODAGRIM, and Pedro Polanco, the institution's secretary general. Representing MUPYMECON, along with its president Esther Morillo, were Meran, Roxanna Brito, Joselyn Rodríguez, and Surelis Calderón.
This agreement reaffirms the commitment of both entities to the growth and professionalization of the sector, generating new opportunities for its members and promoting the development of the country.
