INCABIDE will auction off apartments, houses, land and 200 other properties

The November 25th call for bids will also include aircraft, repairable vehicles, jewelry, watches, and boats; the entity estimates the value of the assets at RD$1 billion and projects to raise RD$600 million

SANTO DOMINGO – Apartments, houses, lots, and farms are among the real estate assets that the National Institute for the Custody and Administration of Seized, Confiscated, and Extinction of Ownership Assets (INCABIDE) will offer in its second auction of 2026, scheduled for November 25. The auction also includes aircraft, repairable vehicles, jewelry, watches, boats, and scrap metal.

According to the institution's estimates, the 200 assets included in the catalog have an approximate value of RD$1 billion, while the fundraising goal amounts to RD$600 million.

In that sense, the offer brings together alternatives for those seeking to acquire homes or land, as well as for investors and merchants interested in other items with possibilities for economic gain.

Apartments, houses and land are among the properties offered

The inclusion of apartments and houses is one of the components of interest to people looking to acquire real estate through a public auction. In addition to these properties, there are also plots of land and farms, which represent other options for buyers interested in land or spaces intended for different uses.

To learn the details of the real estate offer, participants should consult the official INCABIDE catalog, where they can verify the availability of the homes, their locations, characteristics and starting prices, as well as the requirements established to participate in the process.

In this way, the call combines residential properties and land with movable goods of different categories, which broadens the scope of the day beyond the real estate market.

Aircraft, vehicles, boats and valuables

Furthermore, the inventory includes aircraft, automobiles requiring repair, jewelry, watches, and scrap metal. This diversity allows for the participation of individuals with varying business interests and financial resources.

Among the vessels announced is a 200-foot-long ship in scrap condition, whose starting price will be RD$6,800,000.

Likewise, a yacht will be offered starting at RD$39,500,000, while a Toyota Tundra SR5 will have a starting price of RD$790,000.

It should be noted that these amounts correspond to the starting prices of the items mentioned and not necessarily to their final award values, as these will depend on the economic proposals submitted during the auction.

INCABIDE projects to raise RD$600 million

In financial terms, the organization estimates the combined value of the 200 assets at around RD$1 billion. Based on that valuation, it set a revenue target of RD$600 million for the November event.

However, the final amount raised will depend on the bids received and the quantity of goods ultimately awarded. Therefore, the announced figure is an institutional projection and not a guaranteed amount.

Digital registration and requirements to participate

Regarding the procedure, INCABIDE has enabled online registration for those interested in participating. According to the published schedule, registration will be open from October 19 to November 7, at a cost of RD$5,000 per participant.

During that period, applicants will be able to consult the requirements, the conditions of participation and the available inventory through the official INCABIDE.

Once the registration phase is complete, the auction will be held on November 25 at the facilities of the Higher Police Education Institute (IPES).

Assets under the custody of the State

From a legal point of view, the procedure is framed within Law No. 60-23, which establishes the provisions for the administration, custody and disposal of seized, confiscated and property subject to extinction of ownership processes.

In relation to this process, the executive director of INCABIDE, Manuel Oviedo Estrada, highlighted that the call is part of the institutional efforts aimed at consolidating an efficient, transparent and responsible management of assets under state custody.

In short, the second auction of 2026 will make available to the public 200 assets of various categories, with an offering that includes apartments, houses, land and farms, as well as vehicles, aircraft, boats, jewelry, watches and scrap metal.
