The session aims to guide taxpayers and entrepreneurs on the main aspects of the IT-1 form
SANTO DOMINGO.- The correct filing of tax obligations continues to be one of the main challenges for small businesses, entrepreneurs and taxpayers who manage their own tax returns.
With the purpose of providing guidance on this process, the General Directorate of Internal Taxes (DGII) will hold a free videoconference this Tuesday, June 9, focused on the main aspects for the correct completion of the Sworn Statement and Payment of the Tax on Transfers of Industrialized Goods and Services (ITBIS), using form IT-1.
According to information provided by the entity, the training is part of its Tax Education program and will be available at two times, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., through the Zoom platform.
Guidance to facilitate tax compliance
The DGII explained that during the session they will review the fundamental elements to correctly complete the ITBIS declaration, one of the taxes with the greatest impact on companies and businesses that carry out taxable operations.
The initiative seeks to strengthen taxpayers' knowledge of their tax responsibilities and help reduce errors when submitting the corresponding documentation.
Limited spaces
According to the institution, participation will be free, although the spaces available for training are limited.
The institution invited interested parties to join this training session, designed to offer practical tools that facilitate the timely fulfillment of tax obligations.
