In anticipation of the FITUR International Tourism Fair, which will be held in Madrid, Spain on the 18th of this month, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation informs of the current requirements for traveling to that country.
It states that since September 20 of last year, the Spain Travel Health (SpTH) portal has ceased operations, both the website and the mobile applications, and it is no longer necessary to complete the health control form to travel to Spain or to present the SpTH QR code at boarding or at the arrival airport.
The Ministry reminds visitors that during their stay in Spain they must at all times follow the COVID-19 recommendations issued by the health authorities.

“Passengers are reminded of the mandatory use of masks on public land transport and also on board aircraft (Iberia).
"It is also required in hospitals, health centers, pharmacies and social service centers," the Ministry highlights on its website.
They recommend that people not travel if they have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (fever, difficulty breathing, cough, etc.) and stay at home/accommodation until symptoms improve or disappear.
