SANTO DOMINGO.- President Luis Abinader inaugurated the new headquarters of the Civil Aviation Board (JAC) in Santo Domingo yesterday, a four-story building constructed to facilitate the administrative and operational work of the entity.
Similarly, the president delivered 100 new apartments in the Mi Vivienda San Luis Plan, in Santo Domingo Este, to benefit the same number of families who now become owners of their homes.
José Marte Piantini, director of the Civil Aviation Board (JAC) and who will become the Dominican consul in Spain on August 16, said, “The day has finally arrived. The dream has finally come true. This is a reality; this modern building will house the headquarters of the Civil Aviation Board and represents an important project within the sector's institutions,” he emphasized

He said the structure is equipped with modern facilities and state-of-the-art technology, which will allow the organization to improve the efficiency and quality of its operations.
The new facilities are located on Avenida 27 de Febrero, almost at the corner of Presidente Antonio Guzmán, Mirador Norte.
The official cited the progress achieved during his administration (since August 16, 2020), including the implementation of 281 new routes to and from different destinations around the world, 438,836 air operations, with revenues for the country of US$49,807 million.

This Sunday, President Luis Abinader delivered 100 new apartments in the Mi Vivienda San Luis Plan, in Santo Domingo East, to benefit the same number of families who now become owners of their homes.
With this new delivery, the Ministry of Housing and Buildings has built a total of 8,307 new units under the My Housing Plan, in different areas of the Dominican Republic.
This San Luis project involved an investment of RD$7,172 million and created more than 5,400 direct and indirect jobs, which revitalizes that municipal district of Santo Domingo East.
