SANTO DOMINGO.- Buses from the Metropolitan Office of Bus Services (OMSA) will be available from today until the ninth of this month of April of this year, at no additional cost, to transport passengers who use the Cable Car during the same hours of operation.
The Office for the Reorganization of Transportation (Opret) reiterated yesterday, Friday, to users of the cable car that this means of transport will be closed during the aforementioned period, due to maintenance work.
Opret explained that passengers from the Los Tres Brazos station will be transported to the Ercilia Pepín Metro station and vice versa, in OMSA buses.
Passengers from Sabana Pérdida (T3) and Charles de Gaulle (T4) stations will be transported to the Rosa Duarte Metro station and vice versa by bus.
The jobs
Maintenance work is planned from the construction and commissioning of the means of transport, and is carried out routinely, during periods of lower service demand, in all cable cars worldwide.
The institution asked for the understanding of users and reported that, although the cable car will be out of service, it has deployed a customer service staff to inform and assist the public.
