SANTO DOMINGO.-This Thursday, December 14, for one hour, from 10:00 to 11:00 in the morning, the Ministry of Public Works and Communications will close the Floating Bridge over the Ozama River to vehicular traffic.
The Director of Bridge Maintenance, engineer Romer Francisco Pérez Vargas, explained that the reason for the closure is to allow the passage of a vessel that is carrying out work related to the Nuevo Domingo Savio project.
The Floating Bridge connects the National District with Villa Duarte, in the municipality of Santo Domingo East, and serves as a great relief to vehicular traffic, especially during peak hours.
The MOPC apologizes to the public, especially to drivers who travel using that structure.
