SANTO DOMINGO.- Cooperatives represent a model for achieving the common good, and in the Dominican Republic this sector is experiencing a stellar moment, with significant growth that puts it in the spotlight of the national agenda.
The real estate sector is no stranger to this reality, and for this reason a group of outstanding women saw the empty niche and created COOPINMOBILIA, an entity that seeks to become an ideal way to support real estate brokers in their needs.
Cinthia Medina is the general manager of the entity and will be sharing the details of the initiative at the first CENI Expo Forum, which will take place on March 8, “International Women's Day”, at the Catalonia Hotel.
Her professional profile shows that she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, and has a Master's degree in Tax Accounting.

Medina cites in his credentials various courses he has taken to strengthen his knowledge: How to set up your own company, computer and inventory assistant, ITBIS declaration and tax receipts, customer service with emotional intelligence, analysis and interpretation of financial and social performance indicators for microfinance institutions.
In addition, there are courses on internal auditing for beginners and risk-based auditing, financial risk and money laundering and terrorist financing, cooperative identity and management career, a diploma in money laundering prevention and another in banking risks, among others.
Cinthia Medina's work experience includes working as an administrative assistant at Telesistema, a position she held at the Teleantillas and Telesistema Multiple Services Cooperative, as an accountant at Cortes Hermanos, and as an internal auditor at the Conacado Inc. Savings, Credit and Multiple Services Cooperative (COOPNACADO).
She also mentions that she was an external auditor at the firm Encarnación Consulting SRL (specialized in cooperatives); and currently, in addition to COOPINMOBILIA, she works as a real estate advisor at Keller Williams Capital.
