Grupo ICA celebrated 20 years in the market

SANTO DOMINGO.-The company Civil and Environmental Engineering (ICA) celebrated 20 years of work in the market, highlighting its environmental contributions to Dominican society.

“The quality of life of every Dominican is what drives us. Doing our job well brings well-being to people. It is very satisfying when we finish a project and know that citizens will have drinking water or sanitation. That is something important, vital for the development of a country,” said Sobeida Perdomo, president of the company.

At the event held at the El Embajador hotel, the employees with the longest tenure in the service were recognized.

Perdomo thanked the guests for their presence and said that ICA is a company that contributes to society with an environmental vision. “I love the water sector; it is life itself. Many of you have been with us for several years, even during difficult times, and we thank you,” the executive commented.

He stated that at Grupo ICA they are very proud of their employees, suppliers, and customers. “Stay close, because our story is just beginning. Our goal is the sky.”.

Taking advantage of the two decades, the time, passion, loyalty and commitment of the employees with the longest tenure at the company were recognized, a press release highlights.

Maribel Casilla was one of the collaborators recognized "for her invaluable contribution of twenty years of service; Julio Rodríguez, for his twelve years; Josefina Espinal and Jeimy Soriano, ten years each; and Fátima Fernández, with six years.

The evening was enlivened by a saxophone and cello show, and the dance part was provided by Jandy Ventura's orchestra, Legado del Caballo.
