SANTO DOMINGO.-The RD Vial Trust Office announced that due to the presidential and congressional elections to be held in the country this Sunday, May 19, the lanes of all toll stations in the country will be open from 6:00 a.m. until Monday the 20th at the same time.
The measure, taken to make it easier for employees working at the stations to travel to the polls to exercise their right to vote, reiterates the entity's commitment to the exercise of democracy and to making it easier for all citizens to go to the polls.
This measure is taken, in turn, for the benefit of citizens in general, freeing them from toll payments so that they can travel freely to their corresponding electoral venues in the 2024-2028 period, a press release highlights.
He explains that all toll stations in the country will return to work starting at 6 a.m. on Monday, May 20.
