SANTO DOMINGO.- On the first of this month of December, Urban Group held its traditional awards ceremony to recognize the individual and team efforts of the real estate firm, corresponding to the year 2023.
The ceremony, held in the Opal Room of the Embassy Suite Hotel, covered various areas, from sales to administration and management, highlighting the contribution made by its employees during the last twelve months to the company that began operations in the Dominican market in 2015.
A press release highlights that this year's edition featured more than ten awards, including the seller of the year award with three prizes, selected based on the number of contracts signed.
In that regard, Anderson Parra was recognized first, Raymundo Reyes second, and Mirla del Rio third.
The Rookie of the Year award recognizes the salesperson who, during a period of 3 to 11 months with the company, achieves outstanding performance. In 2023, the award went to Dolores Morrobel.
Likewise, Urban Group distinguished administrative excellence, recognizing the staff of that department with extra merits, through which category Alba Vásquez and Marjorie Rodríguez were awarded.
In addition, a tribute was paid to the "Mister Urban Friends" award, given to those who have contributed to the growth of the platform for strategic alliances.
In its awards ceremony this year, the prominent real estate company celebrated not only quantifiable achievements but also the human side of the business, highlighting resilience and other values that transcend mere numbers. José Joaquín López was awarded the Resilient Award.

Ada Sarmiento, general administrative coordinator, maintains that during the year that is almost over, the company continued to stand out as a leader in the industry, with a solid and committed team, managing to maintain high standards of service and performance.
He adds that during the aforementioned period, Urban Group welcomed new talents who joined the team, bringing freshness, creativity and dedication to the brand's mission.
“Looking ahead, Urban Group is embarking on a new path in 2024, focusing on innovation, excellence, and customer satisfaction. The company will continue to grow, adapting to market demands while maintaining its commitment to quality and integrity in every aspect of its operations,” Sarmiento responded to El Inmobiliario ’s question about the outlook for the coming year.
