“Friendship between two people is a relationship that endures over time, taking into account that humans are not perfect and that a balance is struck and what is important is valued more,” explains José; while for Miguel, a friend is the person who lets you be who you are, supports good habits and enjoys the successes and growth of the other person.
SANTO DOMINGO- The request to Ada Sarmiento came from a couple of friends from Urbangroup, since we have been presenting female stories for three days, as the guys have skipped the call due to lack of "time".
But one detail delayed their release: they're full-fledged beachgoers, and in all their photos they appear scantily clad, and there weren't any pictures suitable for publication. Decent young people who appreciate formality and take care of their image.
The beach, good music, drinks, and a fraternal friendship are what unite Miguel Martínez and José Sarmiento, two young talents from the Urbangroup family, who have spent eleven years connected by a deep friendship, where mutual admiration and recognition prevail.
“I admire José’s patience and goodwill,” says Miguel; while José says that he admires Miguel’s approach and that in fact he has copied patience from his friend, whom he has rarely seen agitated.

The sea lovers met in 2011 when they worked at a national company and although in separate areas, the connection was established and a year later when José left to pursue a master's degree in International Business in Canada the ties had already taken root and the friendship has prevailed and strengthened.
Four years ago, Miguel migrated to Punta Cana. He told his good friend that he was exploring a new area to work in, and it so happened that Urbangroup was recruiting staff, and what better place than the company where they could both meet again at work.
These two good guys, one an industrial engineer with a master's degree in international business, the other an economist with a master's degree in economic development; they might seem reserved when speaking, but when they develop their ideas they demonstrate their clarity of thought.

“Friendship between two people is a relationship that endures over time, taking into account that humans are not perfect and that a balance is struck and what is important is valued more,” explains José; while for Miguel, a friend is the person who lets you be who you are, supports good habits and enjoys the successes and growth of the other person.
When it comes to defining ourselves, the assessment flows: “Miguel is an organized person, he knows what he wants, he’s focused, and in fact, we’re very similar in that sense. He’s skilled with Excel and very dedicated.” José is a compassionate human being; he doesn’t mind putting his own activities on hold to help others. He’s very capable, with emotional intelligence and maturity. Even though we’re young, some people don’t get where you have because they can’t focus, something José has managed to do.”.

Miguel's move to the East Coast has reduced the number of social gatherings between the friends, but as soon as Miguel comes to town or José travels to Punta Cana, they get together, plan their beach getaways, and both keep an eye on each other's lives and make sure to be present for their respective families' special moments. "We support each other, share our experiences in Europe and Canada, and somehow, that has helped us move forward, learning new things," they say.
Regardless of how competitive the field is, the friendship between the two young men is reason enough for them to support each other and be attentive to each other's needs. "Our professional friendship has been based on understanding that we are part of a team and that, as such, the foundation lies in supporting each other, and that we also rely on each other's knowledge," explains José.
Miguel understands that despite the fierce competition in the market, it is possible to create quality friendships and that this depends on what one contributes; you have to contribute positive things to people, not make inappropriate comments, and everyone will fall into their place.
During Friendship Month, they both encourage people to be present, to nurture relationships and connect with loved ones. "Give what you want to receive, and you will foster more friendships.".
