Thus began the AEI International Congress "The New Real Estate Era"

SANTO DOMINGO.- From seven in the morning, delegations of real estate agents began to parade by, thirsty for knowledge, getting up early to be in the front row at the AEI 2022 International Congress.

Amidst camaraderie, sips of coffee, hugs, selfies, and photos, the first few hours of the country's premier event for real estate agents unfolded. Others went straight into the hall to secure seats in the front rows, tucking their ears close to the stage so they wouldn't miss a single detail from the speakers.

The entire board of directors of the Association of Real Estate Agents, AEI, the organizing entity; the president of the Association of Housing Developers and Builders (ACOPROVI), architect Jorge Montalvo; former presidents of the guilds, and international delegates, have been present at the meeting.

A room full of energetic real estate agents, looking their best and eager to receive a complete dose of knowledge, characterizes the atmosphere of the meeting.

People from Punta Cana, Santiago, La Vega, San Francisco de Macorís, Rio San Juan, Greater Santo Domingo, among others, have been present at the event.

Opening

A video highlighting the AEI's training processes and its main achievements officially opened the activity, through which the entity highlighted the constant contribution it makes to the growth of agents, through its CBR 01 and CBR 02 certifications.

With a message of “United we are stronger”, the AEI explained its 32-year journey, thanking all the entities and people who have contributed to its work.

After the customary greetings and thanks to the sponsors, Nikauly de la Mota, the master of ceremonies, called the president of the AEI, Alberto Bogaert, to the stage, who was accompanied by all the members of the Board of Directors to welcome those present.

“The New Real Estate Era doesn't mean being new, but rather that we must change and adapt to the new times. Those who were prepared were able to make great sales during the pandemic because the new era is many things,” said Bogaert.

He referred to the more than 1,500 agents trained in recent months through the association, "providing topics with current professionals so that our businesses can grow."

It was Cindy Castillo's turn, the first speaker of the day, with one of the hottest topics: Airbnb.
