Today in the Dominican Republic we celebrate Mother's Day, a special day that brings together our loved ones to honor and spend quality time with the mothers of the family.
In the Cultural Room of El Inmobiliario, we share some films for you to enjoy with your loved ones on this day.
The first option is "Mother's Day." It stars Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, and Julia Roberts. It's about a Mother's Day celebration where three mothers and a widowed father go through all sorts of trials and tribulations.
"More Than Mothers" is another fun option to enjoy this Sunday. Patricia Arquette, Angela Bassett, and Felicity Huffman play three best friends who discover that to move forward, they have to let go of many things and rediscover who they truly are.
Inspired by her mother's past and the confidence she gains from a new friend, a shy young woman denounces the sexism at her school. The film, titled "Moxi," was released in 2021 and stars Hadley Robinson, Lauren Tsai, and Patrick Schwarzenegger.
