PUNTA CANA, LA ALTAGRACIA.- 519 rooms, 40 luxury villas, a Jimmy Buffett suite, six restaurants, three bars, a cafe, the world-class St. Somewhere Spa and multiple amenities are what the new Cap Cana hotel, inaugurated yesterday, offers with an investment of US$175 million.
Karisma Hotels & Resorts and Margaritaville inaugurated the five-star hotel complex, Margaritaville® Island Reserve Cap Cana by Karisma, a new option for national and international tourists.
The hotel offers an experience of relaxation, fun, top-quality gastronomy and exceptional first-class services, including a luxurious beach design in a tropical setting.

One of the attractions of Margaritaville® Island Reserve Cap Cana by Karisma is that they have their own brewery and the "Entertainment Village" entertainment center, located in the heart of the resort, among a wide variety of amenities that allow travelers to enjoy a unique and authentic vacation, inspired by the lifestyle and lyrics of singer Jimmy Buffett.
Margaritaville® Island Reserve Cap Cana by Karisma is the first property already built and in operation, and the second of the Island Reserve brand, which combines the world-class all-inclusive amenities of Karisma Hotels & Resorts, with the fun and cheerful lifestyle characteristic of Margaritaville.
Cobbo Bay Developers, headed by businessman Jesús Barderas, is the company developing the project in the area. This opening will generate approximately 2,200 jobs, both direct and indirect, contributing to the growth and revitalization of the Dominican tourism industry.

The hotel's inauguration ceremony was presided over by the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, and by the main executives of the hotel corporation, Rafael Feliz Germán, president of Karisma Hotels & Resorts; Jorge Feliz Germán, president of Karisma Dominicana, accompanied by David Collado, Minister of Tourism, and Samuel Pereyra, administrator of Banreservas.
