SANTO DOMINGO – Trusts are one of the buzzwords in the Dominican Republic; a controversial concept, the subject of much debate and analysis, that has not been fully understood or grasped by a large part of the population. In fact, if you ask someone to explain the concept, you'll find that not many can provide a clear or satisfactory definition.
Roberto Carlos Jorge is an expert on the subject, and when we asked him about the reasons for the lack of knowledge, he replied that it is due to a lack of education and suggested carrying out processes where the concept is widely debated so that the population can understand it.
And that is why, through his company FIDEMIX, he will be offering a course to help alleviate this almost general lack of knowledge among citizens.
