It will have five levels with 9,000 square meters of construction. It will also feature a bar and restaurants, terraces, a coworking, a gym, a swimming pool, a business center, flexible meeting rooms, and parking.

The rooms will offer two views: one of the airport terminal and the other of the Caribbean Sea. The developers believe this will also attract business travelers by providing spaces for meetings, training programs, and other events.

Mónika Infante Henríquez, CEO of Aerodom, stated that the hotel will be able to accommodate transit passengers and crews, "encouraging more local and international airlines to establish their operations centers in the country.".

Meanwhile, Carlos Tejera, president of TVP Management, stated: “This new hotel project definitely adds tremendous value to Santo Domingo Airport, the city of Santo Domingo, and our portfolio of projects. Major cities around the world have one or more airport hotels, contributing to the dynamism of air traffic. We thank the Aerodom executives for their trust and the time we have dedicated to reaching this point of announcing this important hotel investment.”.

For his part, the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, welcomed the construction of this new Holiday Inn Santo Domingo Airport and expressed that these new investments demonstrate the continued confidence that tourism in the Dominican Republic generates, which is already an international benchmark.

The new hotel will be built by TVP Management RD and Constructora Sofisa, SA, under the design of the Orbitarq Architecture Workshop, and the law firm Estrella & Tupete.
