SANTO DOMINGO.- Bienvenido Paulino of Plusval Vental Directa, Mélido Marte and Raysa Jiminián of RE/MAX Metropolitana are the three real estate agents nominated in the Noval Awards 2023, in the category “legend of the real estate sector”, for their outstanding career and their contributions to the industry.
These are three renowned real estate agents, with a successful career of more than three and four decades dedicated to service as real estate brokers, who have made an important contribution to the positioning and development of the profession in the country.
For the president of the AEI, Alberto Bogaert, the nomination of the three representatives is very appropriate, because they are established figures who are active in the market, dominating and leading positions in the country's real estate sector, which is why he says he does not agree with the term "legend".
He states that Mélido Marte is the head of one of the most successful franchises in the Dominican Republic, RE/MAX, while Raysa Jiminián is a benchmark in the commercial part of the sector and one of the figures who has contributed the most to the commercial real estate sector in the country, and Bienvenido Paulino leads Plusval Venta Directa, the president of the Dominican real estate agents specifies.
“There is no doubt that this selection is very appropriate for these nominations. Any of the three who win the award would be a good choice; they are all role models, people with extensive experience, and from whom one can learn a great deal. All three are leaving a legacy for the history of the real estate sector,” Bogaert told El Inmobiliario.
Paulino has 37 years of experience in the real estate sector. He holds degrees in business administration and marketing, a diploma in real estate law, is a founding member of the Association of Housing Developers and Builders (Acoprovi), former vice president of the Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies (AEI), has been married for 47 years, and is the father of three children and five grandchildren.

Melidus Mars
The regional director of RE/MAX Dominican Republic and leader of RE/MAX Metropolitana was recognized in May of this year for his 34 years of dedication to the profession. “My calling is to be a real estate agent, to help people make a decision as fundamental as having food or clothing, which is having a roof over their heads to protect their families from the elements, but which is also a place for work, leisure, and other human activities,” Marte said in an interview with the print edition of El Inmobiliario in September of this year.
