SANTO DOMINGO.- The Dominican Republic and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) will co-host the 5th Business Summit of the Americas, scheduled to take place on December 3 and 4 in the tourist destination of Punta Cana.
A statement specifies that the meeting, which will be held on the eve of the 10th Summit of the Americas, will bring together prominent business leaders and heads of state from across the region, with the aim of promoting private sector-led development.
"We are pleased to announce that, fulfilling our commitment to provide a space for dialogue between governments and the private sector, we will work together with the Inter-American Development Bank to host the 5th Business Summit of the Americas," said Roberto Álvarez, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic.
