SANTO DOMINGO- A new edition for hardware stores to showcase their latest products will take place in the Dominican Republic in mid-2022, where these shopping centers will exhibit the wide range of products in that field and the innovations created in that market.
Expo Ferretera Dominicana 2022, in its 17th edition, was recently announced by the Dominican Association of Hardware Stores (ASODEFE), who explained that the event will take place from June 10 to 12, at the Dominican Fiesta Hotel Convention Center.
Representatives from hardware store associations in Baní, Mao, and San Cristóbal attended the event to announce the details of the activity, along with delegations from companies that will be present with booths, including Atlas Brasil, Pinturas Tropical, Grupo Corvi, Marcha, and Cano Industrial. Also present were Iván García from the Dominican Federation of Merchants, Cristian Cordero from the Santo Domingo Chamber of Commerce and Production, and others.
Ana Ventura, the fair's organizer, announced the countries that will be participating in the exhibition: namely, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Italy, the United States, and Venezuela. They have logistical support from the agency Dreaming Investments, which is handling air and land transportation, as well as lodging for the business groups attending the event.
He emphasized the importance of the expo, which will allow the Dominican Republic to learn about the wide range of hardware and construction material manufacturers from those countries, ensuring the Dominican Republic stays up-to-date with international market innovations. He highlighted the country's strategic location for supplying neighboring Caribbean island markets.
Engineer Arturo Espinal, president of ASODEFE, believes that holding the event revitalizes the sector and creates direct contact between the hardware importer-distributor and those in the SME sector.
As part of the activities at Expo Ferretera Dominicana, business-to-business (B2B) meetings, conferences, talks, and workshops will be held. The event will be open to the public for all three days, from Friday to Sunday, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Expo Ferretera Dominicana is sponsored by Pinturas Tropical and Grupo Corvi. It is also supported by the Santo Domingo Chamber of Commerce and Production, ProColombia, and the National Association of Importers and Exporters of the Republic of Mexico (ANIERM).
