SANTO DOMINGO.- With a different expression, which she and her little ones share, Fior Daliza Valdez assured that this Christmas not only has her Christmas Eve improved but her whole life.
“They have changed my life, and the boys’ lives. They are very happy and we are all truly very happy here,” said the mother of Joel Manuel, Natacha and Jonathan.

Macarrulla's chief of staff, Carmen Minaya, explained to this media outlet that Fior Daliza will receive, for 22 months, financial support that comes from the salary of the Minister of the Presidency, and not from state resources.
First breakfast
On the other hand, Fior Daliza said that thanks to the help she received, this Friday she was able to make breakfast for her children and go out early to get Jonathan's medication, as he has a health condition that causes him to have seizures if he goes without the drug.
“I made them mangú with pork chop,” the mother pointed out, while narrating that for months they only had the dishes that a neighbor gave them, so the first meal they ate was after midday.
“We would eat when she would give us something and then we had to wait for Alejandro (her husband) to see if he would bring us something for dinner,” she added.
Dinner
For this Christmas Eve, Fior Daliza explained that she will go out to buy a baked chicken and prepare a "morito" and a Russian salad to share with her family.
Just a day ago, the possibility of spending a "good night" was far from the possibilities of this family.
