The measure seeks to simplify institutional processes through digital tools
SANTO DOMINGO. The Real Estate Registry (RI) announced yesterday that the Internship Exemption service is now available online for students who need to complete this process, allowing them to manage it entirely digitally without having to visit the institution's offices.
The implementation of this platform will allow users to make the request quickly and securely, facilitating access to the service and tracking of the process from anywhere.
What can be managed through this platform?
Through the institutional portal, applicants will be able to:
- Access the Internship Exemption service.
- Complete and submit the application.
- Check the status of the process.
- Download the certificate once the application has been approved.
The availability of this service is part of the Real Estate Registry's initiatives aimed at simplifying institutional processes through digital tools, with the purpose of providing users with a simpler, more accessible and efficient experience, the entity highlighted.
The Property Registry made the information public through a post on its social media and invited interested parties to visit its institutional website to use this and other available digital services.
What does the Exemption from Internships for Surveyors consist of?
The Internship Exemption is a procedure for surveyor graduates who meet the requirements to be exempt from this professional requirement. Through the Property Registry service, the applicant can obtain the corresponding certification from the National Directorate of Cadastral Surveys.
Now, the process can be done entirely online, allowing the surveyor to submit the required documentation, track the status of their application, and download the certification once approved.
The Real Estate Registry defines the service as the possibility for graduate surveyors to request the Certification of Exemption from Internships before the National Directorate of Cadastral Surveys.
Furthermore, this certification may be necessary later for processes such as obtaining the exequatur, since the MESCYT contemplates for surveyors, engineers and architects the presentation of a certificate of exemption from internship from the Ministry of Public Works or the Real Estate Registry, as appropriate.
