PUNTA CANA, LA ALTAGRACIA PROVINCE.- The president of Grupo Puntacana, Frank Elías Rainieri, announced the participation of the business group and its brands in the forty-fifth International Tourism Fair (FITUR 2025), to be held from January 22 to 26, in Madrid, Spain, where they will unveil new tourism investment projects that they will be developing.
“We have high expectations this year, and we are very pleased with our participation. At the fair, we will be alongside our strategic partners announcing new projects and investments we will be making in the country,” Rainieri stated.
Frank Elías Rainieri will lead the delegation of executives from the Puntacana Group who will be participating in the Dominican Republic stand at FITUR 2025, where they will complete a full schedule of business meetings with investors, promoting the country as a tourist destination.
The country's stand at FITUR will feature the main tourism companies and commercial banks, where they will showcase the diverse tourism offerings that the country has to offer.
Dominican Republic at FITUR 2025
The Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, in collaboration with the financial sector that channels investments in the country's industry, is preparing a prominent participation in the fair.
The agenda includes a major presentation of the country's tourist attractions and the opportunities it offers investors. At the last edition, the Dominican Republic secured new investments, and 58 companies participated in the Dominican pavilion. In 2024, the country received a record 11,192,047 visitors.
