SANTO DOMINGO.- The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) announced that it will close vehicular traffic on the Floating Bridge, located over the Ozama River, for one hour this Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 in the morning.
The Director of Bridge Maintenance for Public Works, engineer Romer Francisco Pérez Vargas, explained that the reason for the closure is to move interceptor 004 to its service station.
The Floating Bridge connects the National District with the community of Villa Duarte, municipality of Santo Domingo East.
The MOPC apologizes to the public, especially to drivers who travel along the route that includes that structure.
