SANTO DOMINGO- With the aim of continuing to promote the strengthening of preventive legal security through technology, the Real Estate Registry (RI) has put into effect the registry alerts service, a tool that allows notification, through digital channels, to owners and users with a legitimate interest when actions or requests are presented before the Registry of Titles on the properties registered and subscribed to the service.
A press release from the organization explains that during the months of September, October and November 2024, the use of this service will be free, allowing corporate users, trade associations and the general public to learn about its advantages.
“With this initiative, we guarantee greater transparency in registration processes and registered rights, and contribute to reducing risks in real estate transactions,” stated Indhira Del Rosario Luna, National Director of Title Registration.
To access this innovative service, interested parties should visit the institutional website www.ri.gob.do, select “Our Services,” and then choose “Virtual Title Registry Office.” Those not yet registered with the office should select the “Register” option and, once logged in, choose the “Registry Alerts” module, the press release highlights.
It adds that while the service is free during the aforementioned months, from now on it will be offered as an on-demand service, with an associated cost that will be defined according to the chosen subscription modality.
"This new tool adds to the actions that the Property Registry has been developing to innovate in the provision of its services, guarantee preventive legal security and facilitate processes through the use of technology," the statement concludes.
