SANTO DOMINGO. – President Luis Abinader will visit Duarte province tomorrow, Sunday, to inaugurate four important projects that will transform essential areas such as health , sports , food security , and government services.
The president's agenda will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the municipality of Villa Riva, where he will lead the inauguration of the renovated Municipal Hospital, a project that strengthens the medical care network in the region and improves the quality of life for thousands of families.
Later, it will put into operation two modern buildings. The first will house multiple public institutions such as the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC), the National Institute of Transit and Land Transportation (Intrant), the Ministry of Housing, Habitat and Buildings (Mivhed), the Ministry of Labor and the General Directorate of Passports, while the second building will be the headquarters of the National Emergency and Security System 911 and the Price Stabilization Institute (Inespre).
During this visit, the head of state will also hold a lunch meeting with young entrepreneurs, university students and representatives of civil society, with the aim of promoting dialogue and active citizen participation in the development of public policies.
The day will conclude with the inauguration of the sports center in the Pueblo Nuevo sector, a space intended to promote sports, healthy recreation and the integral development of youth.
