SANTO DOMINGO.- The Ministry of Labor announced this Wednesday, December 10, that it will hold a job fair in Santiago, at the Convention Center of the Technological University of Santiago (Utesa), which will have the presence of 60 companies and offer around 5,750 vacancies.
This event is scheduled for next Thursday, December 11, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be attended by Vice President Raquel Peña and the Minister of Labor, Eddy Olivares Ortega.
A press release announced that participating companies will include hotels, manufacturing, commerce, services, technology, and free trade zones.
The state agency explained that companies from Santiago, Moca, Puerto Plata and Punta Cana will participate in the event.
Some of the vacancies that will be offered are: engineers, quality inspectors, electromechanical technician, manual operator, business executive, sales representatives, drivers, software engineers, automotive electrician, pharmacy assistant and helper, diesel mechanic leader and food manufacturing helpers.
