SANTO DOMINGO –Jacqueline Mora is the current Vice Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic. She is an economist specializing in macroeconomics and financial economics, as well as business intelligence and customer-centric management, with over 15 years of experience.
The experienced professional will fill the first slot on the speakers' agenda, referring to the development of real estate tourism, at the second CENI Expo Forum, which will take place on June 28 at the UTESA Convention Center in Santiago de los Caballeros.
His professional profile highlights that Mora led the business intelligence team at Verizon Dominicana and structured the first marketing intelligence unit at Banco Popular, being part of the team that carried out the first and second sovereign bond issuances of the Dominican Republic.
“In 2011, he founded Analytica Empresarial, an economic and strategic intelligence company with a strong focus on using data to generate business decisions and strategies, such as business intelligence and customer-centric projects. Analytica has distinguished itself both for its leadership in economic analysis and for its sector impact studies,” states the document outlining his professional and career path.
She adds that during the period 2018-2020, this distinguished professional chaired the board of directors of CEVALDOM, implementing the first strategic planning process. In 2016, she assumed the financial management of the National District Mayor's Office.
Since August 2020, Jacqueline Mora has served as Vice Minister of the Technical Vice Ministry of the Ministry of Tourism, leading transformation projects, both in the area of tourism intelligence, and with the implementation of the Central Unit of Tourist Procedures.
“From there she has modernized all the processes of regulation and administration of licenses in the sector, created a platform for analysis, projections and tourism intelligence that is recognized worldwide, among other projects,” says the official's profile.
It is worth noting that Mora has also taught at the country's leading universities and has worked for international organizations such as the World Bank and the UNDP. She is the co-author of the book Microenterprises and Competitiveness.
