SANTO DOMINGO- Engineer Sandy Joel Rodríguez Gutiérrez is one of the most prominent developers in Santiago de los Caballeros, known for being a pioneer in building innovative real estate developments, some of which are part of the new face that the Heart City exhibits today.
The current director of Gizeh Constructora is one of the first to introduce the condohotel concept in Santiago and is one of the panelists who will discuss the importance of Santiago as an investment destination at the second CENI Expo Forum, to be held on June 28 at the UTESA Convention Center.
Rodríguez was born on July 16, 1979, the eldest of four siblings. “His parents, Pelayo Radhamés Rodríguez and Dánae Gutiérrez, describe him as a restless, honest, and hardworking child who, from a very young age, helped with household chores and simultaneously worked in construction alongside his father.”.

In 1996, Rodríguez graduated with honors from the Santo Hermano Miguel de La Salle school, the same year he received the scholarship for excellence awarded by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, studying at the Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra (PUCMM).
She enrolled in Architecture, but soon switched to Civil Engineering, graduating Cum Laude. She began her professional career in 2000, working for various construction companies in Santiago, Samaná, Bávaro, and Jamaica.

In 2007, the young engineer created the company Gizeh Constructora SRL, specializing in the construction of civil works, with a team with extensive experience in the design, planning and execution of projects, standing out in the hotel, real estate and industrial industries.
The company took off by providing services in the East to the prestigious Iberostar hotel chain, constructing several projects. At the end of 2009, the company focused on developing real estate projects in Santiago de los Caballeros, building residential projects. To date, it has completed more than 10 projects totaling over 400 mid- to high-end units, including the Olivos, La Boheme, and Loretto residential towers, as well as the Soha Suites, Soha Suites II, and Soha Panorama condo-hotels, pioneering the introduction of this latter concept to the city.
In 2015, Rodríguez studied at Barna Business School for a Master of Business Administration (MBA), where his final project team received the award for "Best Business Plan".
