SANTIAGO– Unión Médica, a group with 27 years of experience providing healthcare services in this city, delivered two modern towers to the Northern Region, built with an advanced system designed to meet the highest safety standards. The newly opened Towers E and F of Clinical and Surgical Services have 13 levels of construction, which respond to the most modern criteria of medical care, where the patient is in the foreground, with the comfort, quality and warmth required.

The inauguration ceremony was led by Dr. Julián Sued, president of the Council of Doctors; Dr. Marino Pérez, treasurer; and Dr. Fausto Hernández, member. Minister of Health Dr. Daniel Rivera was also present

"The innovative building reflects a new concept of care, whose overall design is based on global best practices, ensuring that the patient and their family are in an exclusive space, designed for them," explains a press release from the entity.

"The services are distributed by levels, with the first level housing the latest diagnostic equipment and techniques, and the second level providing Hemato-oncological care, with comfortable waiting rooms for companions, hemodialysis and a comprehensive clinical laboratory service, among other services," the press release states.

The third floor houses the outpatient surgery area, or Day Hospital, with a waiting room for 50 people and separate pre-operative areas for men and women, accommodating up to seven patients simultaneously. This floor also features three VIP suites, including one with presidential amenities.

On the fourth level, users find the major surgery operating rooms with an extension of 2,000 square meters of construction, with operating rooms ranging from 40 to 50 square meters.

About the Medical Union

Clínica Unión Médica arose from the initiative of a group of young doctors from Santiago de los Caballeros, who envisioned a project unlike anything that existed in the Northern Region at the time. Their idea began to take shape in August 1994 with the construction of the Clinic Tower. The company was legally incorporated on June 25, 1995, and physically began operations in November 1997. It is currently one of the leading clinics in the region.
