The measure includes discounts and exemptions on documents that have not been withdrawn for more than six months
SANTO DOMINGO. – Title certificates, annotated certificates and other registry products that remain pending collection can still be claimed with special discounts thanks to the amnesty enabled by the Real Estate Registry (RI), valid until June 8, 2026.
The facility, announced by the entity through its official platforms, applies only to documents that have been available for more than six months in RI.
Although the term “amnesty” has caused confusion among some users, the agency clarified that the provision does not correspond to land regularization processes or property legalization, but to the late withdrawal of already issued registry products.
Discounts of up to 100%
Among the benefits announced by the entity is a 50% reduction in the withdrawal of Title Certificates, Annotated Certificates, Creditor Registration Certificates and Certifications of Accessory Real Rights (CEDRA), decreasing the cost from RD$5,000 to RD$2,500.
In the case of statements, the reduction will be 75%, going from RD$5,000 to RD$1,250.
The entity also reported that duplicates and extracts corresponding to properties constituted as low-cost trusts will have a 100% discount for direct purchasers.
In addition, the remote deposit of RD$300 is waived for procedures carried out from Sambil to offices in Santo Domingo.

- Certifications of Accessory Real Rights
- Extracts
- Duplicates and extracts linked to low-cost trusts
The Property Registry recommended that users check the status of their documents before the deadline to take advantage of available reductions.
