SANTO DOMINGO.- The Futuro Cierto Foundation held its traditional fundraising event to collect funds to support the institution's projects, especially for the construction of homes in needy communities.
The 2024 gathering took place with an afternoon tea at the Arroyo Hondo Club's Grand Hall. Numerous people attended, all connected to the cause and interested in joining the network of solidarity to help vulnerable families. The event
was graced by the presence of Friar José María Guerrero, a leader of the foundation, whose organization seeks to positively transform the lives of people in need in the Dominican Republic.
The priest gave an inspiring talk on “Spirituality in the Family,” highlighting the importance of strengthening family values in everyday life.

Lisette Del Monte, a member of the foundation and organizer of the event, explained that Futuro Cierto has built at least 26 houses in Rancho La Guardia in Elías Piña and intends to build another 26 in that same town, which she considers to be the most needy in the province.
The real estate advisor for Infinity Group also said that the meeting is held annually to raise funds to continue the Foundation's programs and that they hold events throughout the year to support the cause. She reported that the next one will take place in February.
Attendees enjoyed an afternoon filled with entertainment, raffles, music, coffee and tea, in a welcoming atmosphere that promoted reflection and connection.
