SANTO DOMINGO.- Organizer Gina Bacchi describes the first Real Estate Hop, held in New York on the second of this month, as a great success. The event was aimed at the Dominican community residing there and showcased various projects currently under construction in the country.
The event, sponsored by Red Inmobiliaria and the Dominican Chamber of Commerce in the United States, was attended by more than eighty guests, who showed interest in the projects on display.
Among the projects presented were White Palms in Jarabacoa, Atlántida, Harbor Bay, Turquoise Residencias and 7 Mares in Cap Cana, Harmony Lounge Residences, Ocean Bay in Bávaro, Jardín Oriental solares or Lotes in Las Américas, The Reef in Las Terrenas, among others.

At the meeting, the brands presented the features, amenities and benefits of the projects, explained the payment methods to those present and all the details concerning the real estate purchase operation.
Élida Almonte, president of the Dominican Chamber of Commerce in NY, stated that the idea behind the activity is for Dominicans to be able to invest “in a small piece of land in the great paradise that is the Dominican Republic.”.
“We brought the first 7 Mares tower, which is a luxury apartment project, in addition to other projects. In Cap Cana there are approximately fifteen projects under construction,” stated Mariano Sanz Lovatón, representative of Cap Cana.
Bacchi thanked the sponsoring companies: Civilmex, Barceló, Noval Properties, Inmobiliaria Bidica, Constructora AG, Bodegas Arrez, and Grupo Aides. He also thanked the New York City Tourism Office and the Chamber of Commerce for hosting the event. The event concluded with a ballet performance featuring traditional Dominican music.
