SANTO DOMINGO– Construmedia celebrated the fourth edition of the ConstruGala awards, a distinction that recognizes excellence in the Dominican Republic's construction sector. In its 2025 edition, 20 awards were presented to outstanding construction companies and projects, selected from 108 entries completed in the country from 2022 to the present.
“We are very pleased to see how this event continues to mature and how the number of projects registered in each edition increases, thus increasing the number of award categories,” said Sadery Abreu, CEO of Construmedia.
Fernando De La Vega, country director of Metaldom, the main sponsor of this edition, emphasized: “This event represents a unique opportunity to reflect on the essential role that construction plays in the advancement of the Dominican Republic. This sector drives national development, energizes the economy, generates quality jobs, and raises the living standards of our population.”

-Low-cost vertical real estate project in the interior: Camilo Residential.
-High-cost inland real estate project: Zoe Sophia Tower.
-Horizontal real estate project, low-rise building: Urbe 8.
-Horizontal residential real estate project of apartments: Epic Sun.
-Horizontal residential real estate project of houses: Canopy Living.
-Single-family horizontal real estate project: Paseo del Rio Residence.
-Low-rise real estate project 2nd Home: Vermare Boutique at Cap Cana.
-Corporate and/or commercial project in Santo Domingo: Plaza Paseo del Prado.
-Office and/or commercial premises project: Excel Offices.
-City hotel project: Latitude 18.
-Beach hotel project: The St. Regis Cap Cana Resort.
-Industrial Project: Bravo Naco Supermarket.
-Public infrastructure project: Santo Domingo East Courthouse.

A press release highlights that two special awards were also presented: a posthumous tribute to the architect Bienvenido Pantaleón and recognition of the outstanding career of the architect Francisco Batista "Don Cuqui".
