Construction and artificial intelligence: the workshop that seeks to modernize the sector to current times

The workshop is aimed at owners, executives and professionals of construction, architecture and real estate development companies who have a vision for growth and are interested in incorporating new technologies into their operations

SANTO DOMINGO.– With the aim of contributing to the transformation and modernization of the construction sector through the incorporation of new technological tools, the workshop “Claude AI for Construction Companies” is coming, an in-person training aimed at teaching companies how to integrate generative artificial intelligence into their processes.

The activity will take place on September 10, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Acropolis Business Center, where architect, urban planner and businesswoman Yermys Peña will be in charge of leading the day and showing participants the possibilities offered by Claude AI applied to the sector.

During the meeting, the specialist will explain in a practical way how to use this tool to optimize processes, support decision-making, develop work systems and improve the productivity of companies dedicated to construction, architecture and real estate development.

Peña, with extensive experience in architectural design, construction and development of large-scale projects, will discuss the different ways in which artificial intelligence can become a strategic resource within companies, beyond its use for isolated tasks.

Who is it aimed at?

The workshop is aimed at owners, executives and professionals of construction, architecture and real estate development companies who have a vision of growth and are interested in incorporating new technologies into their operations.

It is also intended for those who run companies that are already up and running, but continue to personally concentrate numerous decisions and processes, as well as for those who seek to recover working hours by creating systems that allow them to automate and organize certain tasks.

The training is also geared towards those who want to integrate artificial intelligence into the core of their businesses and leave the meeting with tools and systems applicable to their operations, rather than just acquiring theoretical knowledge.

A leader in architecture and sustainability

Yermys Peña, a Dominican architect, urban planner, and businesswoman, has distinguished herself in the architecture, construction, and real estate development sectors, with a career linked to innovation, sustainability, and the design of projects focused on efficiency and the responsible use of resources.

As CEO Partner of Construger, he participates in the development of large-scale real estate projects, while through Studio YP he promotes an architectural proposal based on innovation, functionality and the principles of sustainable construction.

Among the projects that are part of his career, Corporativo Vista 311 stands out, in Santo Domingo, recognized as the first corporate building in the Dominican Republic to obtain LEED Gold certification, after incorporating criteria of energy efficiency, reduction of environmental impact and responsible use of resources.

His experience also extends to international settings, with participation in architecture and real estate development projects in markets such as Miami and New York, in addition to initiatives carried out in different parts of the Dominican Republic.

Peña's career also includes his participation in international business and professional spaces, where he has represented the Dominican architecture sector.

With a vision focused on sustainable architecture, innovation, and conscious development, Yermys Peña now seeks to transfer some of that knowledge to the field of artificial intelligence, with training aimed at companies that aspire to adapt to the new technological demands of the construction sector.
