SANTO DOMINGO- Argentina, Chile, and Brazil will be connected to Santiago de los Caballeros through the airline Arajet, which announced that starting in November of this year, 2023, it will take off to those three destinations from the Heart City, offering the North region more alternatives for its international destinations.
Connections from Santiago de los Caballeros to Sao Paulo, Brazil; and Santiago de Chile, Chile, will begin on November 2, while those to Buenos Aires, Argentina, will begin on November 16.
Arajet, the airline that identifies itself as the low-cost airline of the Caribbean, reported that with these nations there are now 5 destinations in South America where Cibaeños can fly, through a national airline.
In a statement, Arajet explained that flights from Cibao International Airport will connect to these destinations through Las Américas International Airport in Santo Domingo, in what has been called the new air hub of the Caribbean.
“We continue to fulfill our commitment to Santiago and the country, making Arajet the airline of Dominicans. That's why now the people of Cibao will have the ease of flying to these important cities in South America, departing directly from their airport in the most efficient way and with the best price to Sao Paulo, Santiago de Chile and Buenos Aires,” said Víctor Pacheco, CEO and founder of Arajet.
Connections from Santiago de los Caballeros to those South American destinations will be on Thursdays, and return flights are scheduled for Mondays; with projected prices starting at $281 per leg including taxes, according to the press release.
Currently, Arajet offers direct flights from Santiago de los Caballeros Airport to Medellín and, starting October 30, to Bogotá, both in Colombia; so in less than 60 days, residents of the Cibao region will have connections to 5 South American cities through Arajet, the company explains.
Arajet offers more than 140 connections in North, Central and South America, interconnecting the entire continent at the lowest cost and with operational safety.
