SANTO DOMINGO– As part of its ongoing development and institutional continuity process, the Cibao Association of Housing Developers and Builders (APROCOVICI) recently held elections to choose the new leadership that will guide the organization during the 2026-2028 term. The new board of directors is headed by engineer Mario Bonilla, who assumes the presidency, replacing civil engineer Sandy Rodríguez.
Bonilla has extensive experience in developing urban electrification projects in tourist areas of the northern region of the country. It has also expanded its operations to include the construction of civil works, road infrastructure, and rural and urban electrical distribution networks.
The new president of APROCOVICI has been responsible for the execution and supervision of more than 50 large-scale projects in the national territory, accumulating solid experience and extensive knowledge in these areas.
Who are the members of the new board of directors?
The new board of directors, chaired by engineer Mario Bonilla, will be in charge of leading the association during the administrative period 2026-2028.
The team consists of 14 members, who will assume different responsibilities within the organization, with the purpose of contributing to the institutional strengthening of the entity and the development of the sector.
