SANTO DOMINGO.-APAP, Asociación Popular de Ahorros y Préstamos, obtained the Gold recognition in the customer experience (CX) category and innovation of the Country Awards to Financial Innovators in the Americas granted by Fintech Americas, for the solution “Digital Mortgage Loan”.
“We are the first and only entity in the Dominican financial system with a digital mortgage accompanied by a digital platform, designed so that our saving partners, clients and non-clients can finance their home by accessing it simply and quickly from wherever they are,” highlighted the entity's executive vice president of products, digital and experience, Serguey Forcade.
"This product is the result of the great transformation that APAP is undergoing, which motivates us to continue offering more agile, innovative and sustainable solutions for our savings partners and clients," the executive explained.
The Country Awards were created to highlight initiatives in specific countries, with the goal of giving these efforts greater magnitude and positive impact in Latin America.
The 2023 winners were selected from over 200 proposals submitted by organizations across Latin America. This demonstrates the Dominican Republic's remarkable ability to adapt to market changes, the development of new technologies, evolving national and international regulations, and shifting customer expectations.
