Manuel Alejandro Grullón: "Annual production of RE/MAX RD agents has grown 48% in the last six years"

He announced the creation and launch of the new business intelligence unit.

SANTO DOMINGO.– Manuel Alejandro Grullón, president of the Board of Directors of RE/MAX Dominican Republic, highlighted the growth experienced by agents affiliated with that franchise since 2019, which in the businessman's opinion has translated into an improvement in the living conditions of more than 500 families in the country.

“An average real estate agent in our network has increased their annual production by 48%, which means better living conditions for more than 500 Dominican families who are part of our network today,” Grullón explained, delivering the opening remarks at the RE/UNIDOS 2024 convention, held last Thursday the 29th at the Catalonia Hotel.

He said that since 2019, RE/MAX Dominican Republic has achieved milestones that illustrate a constant and permanent evolutionary change with a substantial increase in offices and associates, and whose commercial indicators show that there has been an increase of more than 40% in the commissions earned by real estate agents.

He also highlighted that the volume of sales and income from mortgage disbursements "has more than tripled in the aforementioned period," emphasizing that the RE/MAX model guarantees that 95% of the income remains in the hands of the franchises and their teams.

Manuel Alejandro Grullón highlighted the recognition received by the franchise at the recent convention last March in Las Vegas, where the Dominican representation won 116 awards, including from the main categories awarded by the global brand.

“For the second year in a row, we were the region with the highest percentage increase in new offices in Latin America and the third in net growth. We should all be proud of the results achieved and our personal contributions because we are raising the profile of the Dominican Republic within the entire RE/MAX universe.”.

Looking to the future

The president of the Board of Directors of the first Dominican real estate franchise announced the creation and launch of the new business intelligence unit, taking into account the new market trends.

He reported that the brand has taken the first steps in artificial intelligence and process automation, and that the first roadmaps in this regard have been presented in each of the advisory committees this year.

“I am confident that we are leveraging the information from the databases we have built together, not only to track real-time performance indicators, but also to deepen market research and ensure an inventory of properties that is increasingly tailored to our clients' needs,” he commented.

However, he explained that technology in business models can never replace a brand's most valuable asset: its people. "We're in a human-relationship business, where it's essential to emphasize the importance of our network in developing talent and building trust.".

He said that RE/MAX Dominican Republic's new vision motivates them to impact lives through an ever-improving real estate experience. "That experience begins at home, among ourselves, serving each other promptly, proactively, and transparently, and then it's reflected in the service we provide to our clients and associates," Grullón stated.
