About the AEI

The AEI has been founded for 32 years, promoting the training and professional development of real estate agents and the unity of the sector.

“Our efforts are directed towards the companies affiliated with our association and society with the aim of serving as an intermediary and facilitator in the relationships of the companies that make up the real estate sector, seeking to avoid unfair competition, putting into practice the principles prescribed in our Code of Ethics.”.

Its purposes include regulating and creating the basis for joint ventures, preventing unfair competition through its disciplinary conciliatory power, promoting cooperation among its members, disseminating information to keep its members up-to-date, offering technical assistance through courses and workshops, striving for uniformity in the forms and documents used in carrying out operations, and supporting the legitimate interests of its members by providing the necessary professional assistance and guidance, among others.

About the CRS

A Certified Residential Specialist is an agent who has earned certification from the Council of Residential Specialists by completing a rigorous advanced training course and meeting significant experience requirements. It is this rare combination that makes a Certified Residential Specialist more than just a real estate agent. It is their ability to make a real difference in your home purchase or sale that places them among the best in the business.

A hallmark of a Certified Residential Specialist isn't just the advanced training and education they receive. Equally important is the market experience they bring to the sale or purchase of your home. To earn the Certified Residential Specialist designation, an agent must demonstrate significant experience and certify that they have handled a large number of real estate transactions.
