“This congress demonstrates that in the Dominican Republic we have a real estate sector prepared to evolve, compete and project itself internationally,” said Alberto Bogaert
SANTO DOMINGO.– AEI, the Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies, announced the signing of a collaboration agreement with the Orlando, Florida Association of Realtors to strengthen ties between both organizations and create new opportunities for cooperation, professional exchange, and networking for their members.
The agreement was signed during the "Real Estate Evolution" congress, held on August 5th, with the attendance of more than 700 real estate agents and a large lineup of national and international exhibitors.
A delegation of Orlando Realtors was present at the Congress, who, together with Alberto Bogaert, president of the Association, signed the alliance that, according to the AEI press release, demonstrates the growing international interest generated by the Dominican real estate market and the importance of establishing bridges between professionals from both markets.
The statement indicates that it will allow for the exploration of joint initiatives for training, knowledge exchange, promotion of best practices, and the generation of business opportunities among real estate professionals from the Dominican Republic and the United States.
“This congress demonstrates that in the Dominican Republic we have a real estate sector prepared to evolve, compete, and project itself internationally. The response from agents and professionals, the quality of our speakers, and the presence of international delegations confirm that we are building a benchmark event for the entire region,” Bogaert emphasized.
A conference to level up
The AEI congress is the main training, updating and networking platform of the Dominican real estate sector, which in 2026 brought together multiple real estate agents, entrepreneurs, developers, professionals and representatives of different areas linked to the industry.
One of the great attractions of the congress was the participation of a distinguished representation of national and international speakers, who addressed topics related to leadership, sales, innovation, technology, consumer behavior, business transformation and the new trends that are redefining the real estate industry.
Among the international figures who participated were Suz Amaro, Jürgen Klaric, Jorge Rosas, Sofía Stamateas, Tony Hanna, Yermys Peña and Isaías Medina, along with other renowned specialists who contributed their knowledge and experiences to an audience eager for new tools to face the challenges of an increasingly competitive and globalized real estate market.
