Want to travel to the Dominican Republic and pay for your ticket in installments? Arajet and Fizupay offer an option

The initiative is especially relevant among Dominicans residing in the United States

SANTO DOMINGO. Dominican airline Arajet and technology platform Fizupay announced the formalization of an alliance that allows passengers to plan and pay for their airline tickets in installments, an alternative that seeks to facilitate access to travel and offer greater financial flexibility.

The collaboration between the two companies began more than two years ago and has evolved as part of Arajet's strategy to incorporate solutions that add value to the passenger experience and facilitate the different stages of the journey, both entities highlighted.

Greater flexibility for travelers

They said that through Fizupay, passengers can make an initial payment and then complete the balance through an installment plan before the travel date. The platform also allows for advance payments and finalizing the plan before the scheduled date.

This option is especially convenient for families and groups of friends who need to purchase several tickets in the same transaction, because they can organize the expense without having to pay the total cost of the tickets at once.

Dominicans in the United States are among the top users

Iván Negri, commercial director of Fizupay, highlighted the importance of the Dominican market for the platform and noted that nearly 40% of its clients are Dominicans residing in the United States.

New York tops the list of most popular destinations among these users, followed by Miami, Boston, and Chicago, cities where important communities of the Dominican diaspora are concentrated.

“The Dominican Republic is a very important market for Fizupay. Nearly 40% of our clients are Dominicans residing in the United States,” explained Negri, who emphasized that behind these figures are families and individuals who travel frequently to stay connected with their home country.

An alliance that seeks to facilitate travel

For his part, José Gregorio Cabrera, Vice President of Communication and Public Relations at Arajet, stated that the alliance is part of the airline's efforts to eliminate barriers and offer alternatives that meet the needs of its passengers.

The collaboration adds greater flexibility to the purchasing process and allows travelers to better plan their travel payments, especially when they need to purchase multiple tickets at the same time.

An alternative for the Dominican diaspora

The initiative is especially relevant among Dominicans residing in the United States, who maintain a high frequency of trips to the Dominican Republic to visit family and friends, enjoy their vacations and maintain their ties with the country.

With this alliance, Arajet and Fizupay seek to facilitate travel planning through a payment alternative that provides greater flexibility to passengers, particularly those traveling with family or in groups.
