SANTO DOMINGO –Nothing is more exciting for a real estate agent than closing a deal. To achieve this, they need to be trained on the precise steps required to close a sale. Therefore, at the third CENI Expo Forum, three industry leaders with extensive experience and remarkable success will offer guidelines on the best path to follow to reach this coveted goal.
Luz Sarmiento, from Urban Group; Juan Chalas, from Plusval Dominicana; and Syndi Zamora, from Platinum Brokers, managers of their respective brands, will lead a panel where they will share the action plans they implement in their firms as team leaders, at the event to be held next Thursday, May 2nd, starting at 9:00 AM at the Dominican Fiesta Hotel.
Sarmiento is a graduate of the Bachelor of Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), with degreein High Business Management, carried out at the University of Action Pro-Education and Culture (UNAPEC).
Since 2015, he has led the Urban Realty Group project, a real estate company with a staff of more than 120 real estate agents, which has managed to recruit among its workforce various expressions of young talents from diverse specialties.
According to her professional profile, Luz Sarmiento has completed various courses in the prevention of money laundering and the financing of terrorism in the Dominican Republic, on the Mortgage Market and Trust Law, sales management at Barna Business School, sales techniques, and sales closing at HM Consulting; in addition to a management skills workshop, the latter at the Ibero-American University (UNIBE).

His company, Urban Realty Group, has received several awards, including Real Estate Excellence at the Noval Awards in 2022; recognition for performance at Crisfer PC 2020 and Real Estate Excellence at Noval Properties 2019.
Juan Chalas
The co-founder of Plusval Dominicana created his company together with his cousin Eros Camaño in April 2007, after returning from completing a master's degree in business administration in Madrid, Spain.
“In the area of sales, I have been Plusval's Top Producer for 10 consecutive years (2007-2017). I have had the opportunity to specialize in the marketing of residential projects in the central business district, especially in the Evaristo Morales area. I have been in charge of more than 30 exclusive projects, achieving results far exceeding projections in most cases,” highlights his professional profile.
