A new media outlet to boost the construction and real estate sector

SANTO DOMINGO.- The night was filled with joy and amidst effusive hugs, expressions of gratitude, words of recognition and reaffirmation of a new commitment, the first printed newspaper in the Dominican Republic, focused exclusively on the work of the construction industry and the real estate sector, was born last night.

“El Inmobiliario ” landed last night at the Bolívar Corporate Tower, Santo Domingo, where a large group of real estate and construction sector representatives gathered to learn about the new media outlet.

“Thanks to El Inmobiliario our last year with the courses of the Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies (AEI) has grown,” said Alberto Bogaert, its president, when he spoke at the launch.

The president of Acoprovi, the Association of Housing Builders and Developers, architect Jorge Montalvo, highlighted the role played by El Inmobiliario, after stating that the media outlet arrived at the right time for the growth of the sector.

In addition to the presidents of Acoprovi and AEI, the meeting was attended by the president of ASODEFE, the Dominican Association of Hardware Stores, Arturo Espinal; and of Codia, the Dominican College of Engineers, Architects and Surveyors, Cristian Rojas.

Also present were Pedro Martínez, national deputy for Alianza País, representatives of real estate agencies, architects, engineers, representatives of banks, products and services, family and friends, among others.

What does the new medium bring?

This is a media outlet that aims to tell the story of the construction industry and the real estate sector in the country; its origins, evolution and development.

All sections of the printed edition of El Inmobiliario were created with names alluding to the sector: Ventanilla, which brings the main impactful news of the sector in recent months; efemérides, with commemorative dates; bohío, to narrate the history and evolution of housing; turismo inmobiliaria; desarrollo sostenible, to encourage environmental initiatives; and agenda constructiva, to review activities.

Between blocks, human content interviews, real estate education with an orientation theme, From the Terrace to highlight social activities and Investments to advertise properties.

This printed version will be published every four months and will be distributed in shopping centers, printer stores, construction companies, real estate agencies, corporate towers, hardware stores, among other points that will be defined in due course, explained its director, Ana María Ramos.

“This is our proposal regarding the legacy that we intend to build together with you for the sector and for the country,” Ramos stated, while presenting the new newspaper.

The event was sponsored by Pinturas Crysmar, Asociación Popular de Ahorros y Préstamos, Echenique Group, InfinityGroup, Cosah Constructores, Bodegas Don Juan, TimeHomes, Cordiflex, Billy Spa, Biomotic, RTR.

Also present were Scotiabank, Corvi, Be Safe Med, Olive, and Rolux Shutters Quisqueyanos. The event was organized by Élite Inspira, and Victor Arrechedera served as the event coordinator.
